Idea: The Tough Sheep Challenge – A Year in the Making
A partnership that follows the hosts personal training journey using the MTNTOUGH Fitness App as they prepare for 2026 backcountry hunts and WSF’s 50th Anniversary Sheep Convention in January 2027, where MTNTOUGH will host its annual Tough Sheep challenge.
The concept could include:
On-air updates sharing training progress and mindset
Mentions tied to field prep and physical conditioning
Behind-the-scenes content leading up to the 50th Anniversary and Tough Sheep event
Crossover storytelling with the Wild Sheep Foundation and MTNTOUGH partnership
It’s an opportunity to bring MTNTOUGH into the story in a more meaningful way, not just as a sponsor but as a partner in the journey toward strength, readiness, and conservation.
The Connection to MTNTOUGH & WSF
The Wild Sheep Foundation is Rookie Hunter’s title sponsor, and with MTNTOUGH as one of WSF’s key conservation partners, it’s a natural fit that connects physical preparedness with wildlife stewardship.
As the producer of WSF’s Sheep Fever podcast and their new series Kicked Out, Mike has seen firsthand how WSF and MTNTOUGH share the same commitment to building strong, capable, conservation-minded hunters.
